The general term used as dry dispersion means
that the pigment is required to develop its strength quickly in
the dry media without much pressure. For this
requirement in the process, the pigment should have the
property of very fast dispersion and creating homogeneity in the
shortest possible time-cycle.
The cost for production in this application
depends much on the strength
developed and the time
taken for mixing. SBS has products developed for special
Dry application like cement color, decorative colors, detergents,
flooring tiles and other applications.
SBS speaks of the range of pigments with a very high bulking volume
for this application, which provides a higher surface area for
color development thereby enhancing faster dispersion and development
of the color. The pigments are treated with correct dispersing
agents for some special application in order to enhance properties
for dispersion.
