introduced for the SBS Alpha Blue. SBS has a long history
of catering to the rubber industry for the past two
decades.
SBS Alpha Blue's are provided with the correct specifications
and characteristics which provide uniform and stable color
shades in the rubber media, especially for the applications
in footwear, carpets and other types of rubber sheets & balloons.
The SBS blues recommended for the rubber industry have the properties
to withstand the elevated temperature during the vulcanizing
process. The soft texture of the pigment makes the dispersion
very easy either in two-roll mill or while kneading in big banburry
mixtures/machines
The shade has a bluish clean color and depth, which facilitates
for a very attractive finish. The fast dispersion enables rubber
manufacturing operation to reduce their
time cycle thus resulting in
higher productivity and better
economics. A special quality of Alpha Blue, which has the
unique property to withstand temperatures
in rubber application up to 220°C has
been developed while normal pigments
for rubber application have temperature tolerance up to maximum
170°C only.
